i just hope for an easy acct migration - and not too much downtime
id assume codies will email all acct holders with the instructions so those that are taking breaks etc can migrate as well without losing toons/accts
id suggest kinmailing our lot Chip so they can keep an eye on things and migrate too even if there still on breaks

well its good in some things maybe less in others it will all be clearer once we have more info - LTA is honoured and they do have multi month subs tho that will go up n down i expect with currency changes if we pay the same as the $
all in all it seems that we will notice nothing except we get mylotro and all that entails but the real question is why would codies pass it back or has it been taken back,if so why,whats next ? server merges? i doubt we will know the answers to some of the questions

Well there's a strange thing.. Guess this is still the ongoing Turbine in-sourcing thing that they promised a while back before they migrated DDO to the US. At least this time we get to keep the servers and they will be honouring the Lifetime memberships.
As I already have a DDO account with Turbine I wonder if that will affect the transfer, there were some horrible issues with the DDO one that left some people without their chars when they already had accounts over there...

you will have to make a fresh Turbine acct and forum name for your Lotro acct when we're told to - they wont be merging any DDO Turbine accts or any existing Turbine accts to this
it has been mooted that this will be the same as DDO - u got a key to input on the acct ? and voila u log on using that n all ya bits n bobs are there
its also been said by Sapience (i think it was,without checking) that they learnt from the DDO transfer and dont forsee any problems like they had there
we shall see
