So you will be able to buy it with points eventually, but you won't be able to pre-order it.

Hmm was just checking price in euro's
the heroic pack is $39,99
If i check it with a realtime exchange rate it should be euro 27,38
if i set currency to euro on the website they would charge me 34,99 euro
That's a big difference imho.
So if i would use paypal to pay, and pay in dollars it would probably be cheaper then paying in euro's?
(yes i'm a cheap bastard) ;)

Yep I'll be paying in dollars via paypal too, it should save me a fiver overall.
There's no GeoIP type stuff going on as far as I can tell and they don't seem that bothered by people discussing it on the official forums so I don't think there'll be any consequences.
Also it looks like the preorder offer is running right up until the day before release according this:
Quote: | Pre-Purchase between 6/6/11 - 9/26/11 to receive the following in-game bonuses and items |
Under the click to expand Compare section. I think I'll buy it now just to be on the safe side though

Lies and slander! In any case I'm not the one who has a song about my exploits!
All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
Oh lord Rob's shagged them all!

Hey all, I am considering getting rise of Isengard but I currently do not have any of the other expansions. I was thinking of getting the legendary edition and what I am wondering is do i get the other expansion packs free with it?

•Access to the Path of the Fellowship Quest Packs including Trollshaws, Eregion, Lothlórien and Moria plus the Mirkwood Quest Pack as a special bonus
u get the quest packs not the expansion - i would take that to mean you could play moria etc but you woudnt get access to the rk or wdn as they was with the expansion and would still need to unlock the classes - and with the 1k pts u would receive u could then buy enedwaith maybe - i dont know how many pts that is in the store tho

Enedwaith is 695 points so the Legendary Edition is a great deal for f2players, although I'm not sure how much the Warden/Runekeeper classes cost separately. You're also upgraded to premium when you order the expansion (if you aren't already) which offers a few bonuses over being a completely Free Player.
http://www.lotro.com/betasignup/vipchart.html - not sure if that is still up to date, but it outlines the various benefits.
